November 18, 2008 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #15 Item Title C-14 Interagency Agreement between the School Board of Clay County and the Teen Court of Clay County Issue/Rationale Teen Truancy Court, a pilot program in OPHS and OPJH, is being developed to address attendance issues,at the secondary level.  As the School District continues to address attendance issues, a collaboration with Teen Court through the Office of the Clerk of the Court will add a new dimension to intervention of truancy cases before they are referred to Truancy Court.  Teen Court is an already established entity working with juveniles as an intervention before more serious involvement in the Juvenile Justice system. Recommended Action Approve the Interagency Agreement between the School Board of Clay County and the Teen Court of Clay County as submitted.
